URA Requesting Proposals for 620-628 East Ohio Street in East Allegheny (Deutschtown)

PITTSBURGH, PA (June 23, 2021) The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for redevelopers and/or redevelopment teams to purchase and redevelop 620-628 East Ohio Street in the East Allegheny (Deutschtown) neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh. This is the second time this RFP has been issued.
The goal of the RFP is to select a redeveloper who can complete a creative, high-quality, mixed-use development of three contiguous properties as permitted by Local Neighborhood Commercial (LNC) zoning guidelines while adding to the character of the East Ohio Street commercial corridor.
"I'm excited to see that the URA is partnering with the community to redevelop these three properties on the largest business corridor in my Council District,” said Councilman Bobby Wilson, Council District 1.
Interested redevelopers responding to this RFP should contact the URA's Gordon Hall at email@example.com to schedule a site tour. Please note that attendance to at least one site tour is mandatory. Redevelopers are encouraged to bring their architect, engineer, or any other applicable team members.

The URA uses Ion Wave Technologies, a web-based e-Procurement service for the automatic notification and transmittal of RFPs, RFQs, and bid opportunities at no charge to vendors.
